As a dynamic leader with over 18 years of HR Management, Tammy has managed over 500 employees possessing the aptitude to respond to the service needs of a diverse workplace.  With HR Management experience in Airport Retail, Airport Concessions, Finance, Staffing, Medical, Manufacturing, Distribution, Entertainment, and Call Centers, Tammy Gomez is strongly committed to team building, personal development and training.  As an HR Professional, her motto is “Nothing is Impossible.”  She is well respected in her professional community empowering others to feel comfortable in their decision making abilities and living their dreams. 

VANESSA GIVAN
Operations Manager           

Being in love with serving humanity and mentoring the youth inspired her to create a non-profit organization in 2006, giving back to underserved communities in Chicago Illinois. Vanessa pursued a higher education attending Undergrad and Graduate school studying for Criminal Justice. She has always positioned herself in places where she can mentor others, she has over 10 years of Retail Management experience breaking sales record achieving 300% weekly sales goal while teaching her staff "The Art of Selling." She is currently, the Operations Manager for AETC. Overseeing operations and strategic planning across contracts. In the airport community, she is affectionately known as the "Peoples Champ" because of her passion to serve others.

Accountant/Controller            

Professional Accountant with more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance as well as more than 5 years of supervisory experience. Ability to work in fast pace environment, quick learning of new systems, excellent organization skills, self-starter, analytical skills, great Leadership within a diverse environment, exceptional customer service, and motivated Team Player. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

People, people, people – retail, marketing, and sales have always been the story of Shawnalea Garvin’s career.  AETC is just the culmination of those areas of experience.  After spending over 10 years at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport as a Consulting/ Operations/Retail Manager, a natural progression was to focus on how to better serve her clients/business owners/friends in the area of staffing, customer service training and personal development “Someone has to help “mentor” the young persons of today”.  As a result, Shawnalea’s aspiration is to give back a little of what she’d learned from being in management for over 25 years at JC Penney, Clothworld, Parisians and CA1 Services.  Training is her tool, connecting through self-development is her gift.
